01 / Mission
Curious, critical and hopeful.
We are interested in what a technology does, the system that makes it possible and the people asked to live with its consequences. Wonder and scrutiny belong in the same story.
02 / Editorial standards
Show the work.
Reported claims should be attributed to primary or reputable independent sources. Opinion is labelled. Projections are distinguished from observed results. Reviews should disclose supplied equipment, sponsorship and testing limits. Subjects of substantial criticism should have a fair opportunity to respond.
Every story is published by CircuitHive. Software may assist collection, grouping and drafting, but automated output is never treated as a source. Source links and reporting notes remain attached to generated reporting.
03 / Corrections
Fix visibly.
Material factual errors should be corrected promptly and accompanied by a note explaining what changed. Clarifications that improve precision without changing the substance may be noted when readers would benefit from the context.
04 / Accessibility
More than one way in.
Articles remain available as linear HTML even when they appear inside the visual issue reader. Images should carry useful alternative text, video should include captions and transcripts, and core journeys should work by keyboard and at reduced motion settings.
CircuitHive has not yet completed a formal WCAG conformance audit. Accessibility defects can be reported using the contact route below once it is available.
05 / Privacy
Collect less. Explain more.
CircuitHive stores publication content, Writer Studio accounts and drafts, and newsletter subscriptions in Supabase. Writer Studio access requires an authorized email account.
Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are never stored in CircuitHive tables. Newsletter addresses are private to editors, while published articles are publicly readable. Google Fonts may receive ordinary request information when pages load.
